View Full Version : Unable to start up large playlist on iOS remote

Hi there,

I have a rather large playlist (around 400 tracks), which starts up fine when I start it up from the Squeezebox interface on my PC (My squeezebox server is on my NAS), or the Squeezebox Remote, but when I want to start it up with my iPhone app it just quits during the loading process. Starting up anything else by iPhone (albums, radiostations etc.) causes no problems whatsoever.

Is this problem familiar to anyone? Solutions?

Which App? Logitech's?
What happens if you try to play the playlist, the App just crashes?

Yes, Logitech's.
When I try to play the playlist, the app seems to be "loading", then just stops doing that. After a couple of attempts the app is unable to find the receiver and has to be restarted.
The remote control obviously looks the same, but never fails after "loading".

So it doesn't work with the remote control either?
Does it play the playlist if you "fold" it and use the context menu?

Like I said, it DOES work with the remote (and the PC interface). Just not on the iOS apps.

I don't know what you mean by "folding" and the context menu, sorry. Could you explain?

I'm sorry, I meant "holding", of course. Hold the playlist to get the context menu.
