Thought this may be of use to others searching

I had been looking for a low power consumption amplifier that has a SPDIF / RCA inputs that could be left on all the time. In there past there have been various options for this ;

since then i've been looking for a suitable amp, even considered buiding one using these

however i found and bought one of these made by a company called Sure Electronics

I must say that the sound is pretty amazing, loads of power and can be left on all the time and uses 6w of power. I purchased a 50cm optical cable however the diff between the AMP DAC and receiver DAC is not that great but looks neater.

Hope this helps someone
