I installed the Greentree player on my PPC last night (which I only
otherwise used as a WiFi remote for slimserver) and was happily cruising
around the house listening to music. It works great. However, I noticed
that the Handheld skin on the PPC was not auto refreshing and therefore
incorrectly showing the currently playing song. Is this by design, or a
bug? I got me to thinking though that I might look into developing a fatter
client for the PPC for controlling slim, probably using .NET and C#. I know
there is documentation somewhere on the command and control protocol for
slimserver and the squeezeboxes, but I don't know where. Anyone?
