There might be improvements, but the menu structure is screwed up. No
"Browse Playlists" on the menu. I had to go back to 5.3.1

I'm curious as to why you want/need to go back? There are a lot of
improvements in 5.4...

That should be able to be fixed by adjusting your player settings under
Menus. Also, make sure that a valid playlist directory has been
specified in the Server Settings area.

Worst case, this is an issue of corrupted preferences. Removing the
preferences file (slimserver.pref on most platforms) should revert to
the factory default menu settings. (If this is the case, a copy of
that preferences file would be most helpful to us to diagnose the
problem.)
