Works really well

thanks for this kdf et al. And also to the guys at predixis

Been testing it under XP and it works like a dream. Will test on FC1 when
I get home. No issues so farand the mixes are excellent!

MusicMagic Mixer runs on OSX as well, but I don't have a Mac to test it
on. Anyone want to give it a try and feedback?

I'm thinking of giving this a try (a brief look at Moodlogic a few
months ago didnt impres)
1) how useful do you find it?
2) how do install a nightly build? i've found where to download from
but what do i do with the files in the zip, do i need to uninstall the
current installation, etc

Does that mean losing all settings? I have to admit to letting
SlimServer do its stuff without investigating too much where it
installs to or places preferences.

ok, do NOT use the zip if you are using the windows EXE version of the release.
ONLY use the EXE. Downloading the zip will give you all the updated scripts,
but they will just sit there looking pretty and do nothing. For windows users
who install the EXE, its all part of slim.exe. If there is no EXE in a nightly
build, then it failed to build and you'll have to wait until Dean re-runs it.

that said...and this next part has been said many times. The nightly builds are
sometimes not as stable as release builds. Please do not use them unless you
are prepared to handle quirks or changing behaviour. Its great to have as many
people as possible giving feedback on teh nightlies, as it makes a better
release, but it can easily all go to waste if it is loaded with questions that
have been asked before or can be foudn with a bit of self-learning.
