I had this same problem a while back with Win2K-AS. By using an old
version of mov123, I got things working. In the disucssion on this list
several months ago when I reported the W2K problem, Dean noted that
mov123 had been substantially rewritten between 5.1 and 5.2.

If you go back into the archives and grab the 5.1 mov123.exe from here:
http://www.slimdevices.com/downloads/SlimServer_v5.1/SlimServer_v5.1/Bin
/MSWin32-x86-multi-thread/

and drop it into your 5.4 bin directory, I suspect things will work for
you.
