Default

I've updated to the latest SVN, and backed out change 25340, and all is working again.

As an FYI, I'm starting SC via Desktop shortcut pointing to slimserver.pl. My %PATH% includes C:\Perl\site\bin;C:\Perl\bin (but not C:\Perl\lib). I can't think what else might be unique about my env.

Default svn 25680 (7.3 trunk) issue... CGI::Cookie

bpa's been asking about plugins. Here's what's causing the error:

at C:\Documents and Settings\All
Users\Application
Data\SqueezeCenter\Cache\InstalledPlugins/Plugins/ContextMenu
/Settings.pm line 13.

That plugin needs to be updated.

Default Solved.

I think he asked "Have you any plugins installed ?", to which I answered "Yes". ;-)

This was a chicken/egg. I couldn't get to the web page to update them, until I figured out how to get to the web page working.

All's well again, thanks.

FWIW, I had this problem last week too, so took the plunge and redirected
my SVN at the 7.4 trunk..

I'm not sure I understand what was wrong. Did you have to change something?

Unhappy SC webpage not starting - Can't locate object method "parse" via package "CGI::Cookie

Hi

I just upgraded to the stable SC 7.3.3 today. Running on Intel Atom based QNAP NAS TS-239.
Version : 7.3.3-27044

Symptom:
SC webpage not launching.

Error message:
[09-06-17 20:13:21.0530] Slim::Networking::IO::Select::select (271) Error: Select task failed: Can't locate object method "parse" via package "CGI::Cookie" (perhaps you forgot to load "CGI::Cookie"?) at /share/MD0_DATA/SqueezeCenter/Slim/Web/HTTP.pm line 622.

Before the upgrade i had the following Plugins installed:
- Ampache (was not working)
- PlaylistMan (never used yet)
- SuperDateTime (screensaver)

How can I get my SC admin page up and running again?

Slim::Web::HTTP loads CGI::Cookie (line 12). Check and see if your
copy of that file looks OK.

Sorry to bother all you forum readers ;-)

I solved the problem myself by renaming the Plugin directories and then restarting SC. I renamed the directories back to the original names and uninstalled the "Ampache" plugin via the SC admin page and restarted the SC once again. Now SC started without any error messages.

Conclusion: Ampache plugin (www.ampache.org) is not compatible with SC 7.3.3-27044!

Best regards,
Fredrik Strange
