Very cool! This will truly be the summer of Slim.

Doesn't mean diddly to me, but it is still pretty cool. Removes one of the negative points the SB gets in reviews etc.

Also not the first time big updates have been spotted in SVN before they were announced. The SB3 leaked that way too

And the graphical version of the SB1. I don't remember if the SB2 did or not.

We hope so!

There will be an official announcement of Beta support for Rhapsody
in SlimServer and Squeezebox tomorrow, once the nightlies are
available for folks to try.

Rhapsody support is the key new feature for the 6.3 release, along
with improved Internet radio content support.

Thanks,

dean

Well by all means download it and help me beat it up! There are still some bugs in it that I've found but aren't fixed yet, and I've seen enough weirdness that I'm sure there's plenty more to be found, although hopefully we've fixed the worst ones.

I'm especially concerned about how the web GUI and player GUI deal with Rhapsody content.

Earlier, Dean created a "Rhapsody" component for the Slimserver bug category, so please use it!

Thanks for your help; we're really looking forward to releasing Rhapsody support!

Chris,

Not sure if this is a Rhapsody issue but I just posted this finding w/ the latest 6.3 SVN (in the Beta forum):

Where do I find it? I can't see it in the web interface except in the
Plugins section (shouldn't it be in the Radio section?)

Before I file this to bugzilla: the HTML templates are stored in the main
HTML folders instead of with the plugin. Is this by design?

Grrr... will be hard to test this one:

"Sorry, we are only able to offer Rhapsody® to US customers at this time."
