    Hi,

This looks great, and I am really interested!
    I own a Netgear R7000 - DD-WRT Kong.
I am quite new to DD-WRT, so I am probably missing some details, but basically, my question is:
Do I have any chance to be able to run this package on my R7000?

    Thanks in advance,
    Remio

EDIT: LMS 7.8.0 is here: (01/19/15)

    Hi,
afaik, no, because the R7000 has a different processor architecture (ARM instead of MIPSel).
But you should be able to run one of the official packages instead:
    http://downloads.slimdevices.com/Log...Server_v7.8.0/

    Good luck!
    Squeezebox Classic,
    Squeezebox Radio,
Squeezebox Server 7.7.2 running on Asus RT-N16, DD-WRTv24
    (Kernel 2.6.24.111, Perl-Version: 5.8.8 - mipsel-linux-thread-multi, DBD::SQLite 1.34_01 (sqlite 3.7.7.1))

Good, I won't have to waste time trying this for nothing!

    See here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...rver-7.7.2.zip

Memory footprint is approx 90MB, everything works well as far as I can see.
    Known issues:
Do NOT use MySQL, instead stay at the default SQLite.
I couldn't manage to built ICU support into DBD::SQLite module, so the database lacks globalization support.

I hope you have fun with it!
    Regards

EDIT: I just updated the package (08/16/13). Changes:
    - perl module structure cleanup
    - removed dependency to libdb-5.2 => fixed crash in Media::Scan(!)
    - rebuilt ffmeg without docs (and without asm optimizations)
    - fixed rc startup script not working on reboot of DD-WRT because of wrong LD_LIBRARY_PATH
    - minor fixes

EDIT: I now also added LMS 7.7.3 (08/28/13):
    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...rver-7.7.3.zip

    Hello Steevee, All,

Would there be anybody so kind to upload again any LMS server for Mipsel, I have a rt-ac66u and would love installing LMS on it.

    Big thanks.

Thank you very much for the swift reply !

After trying again and again, I stumble on the adduser part which seems to struggle adding a new user and a new group on my RT-AC66u.

And I have also this strange error when executing the start script, despite having chmod 755 optlog:
    /opt/usr/sbin/optlog: line 7: [: Permission denied
/opt/usr/sbin/optlog: line 8: logger: Permission denied
    /opt/usr/sbin/optlog: line 13: [: Permission denied

Any ideas ? Otherwise I think I'll give up

Have you tried commenting out / removing all optlog calls from the start script?
