Announce: JiveLite - cut down squeezeboxcontrol application

The choices in this menu depend on the skin used. The one you're using
    doesn't offer any options.

Rather lack there of :-). That skin imho was designed with the remote
control in mind, not to be used on eg. a touch screen. Not all buttons
can be navigated to using a remote. Therefore they're not there.

Does the build you're using offer other Grid Skins? If so, you might be
able to tweak them to use your native resolution instead of the HD Grid
Skins: Set JL_SCREEN_WIDTH and JL_SCREEN_HEIGHT environment variables to
    your resolution. Would that work?

AFAIK they're only available if squeezelite is running on the same computer.

Triode, who created JiveLite and did that posting, has left the
community a few years ago. The project itself is now maintained mostly
by ralphy (the owner of the github account).

    Thanks for your fast answer

Thank you for your fast answer.

I am an old Touch user and I know vu-meters are only available when the player is the touch, so yes, JiveLite is running on the Orange Pi One which is also the player. There is something like an attempt to render graphic things, but nothing clear is visible, it sounds like a graphic error.

In my side I wrote a very little python script to manage LCD 16x2 or 20x4 on the I2C especially for the Orange Pi Zero (it is also working for the Raspberry) because it was harder (so more fun) when you have more or less no documentation, for the Orange Pi Zero, and you have to discover by yourself. Looking at JiveLite running gives me some ideas for my script!

Thanks again for JiveLite and your support.

Ok, then most likely the assets were not adjusted for this screen size
    or skin.

Many of the lua modules in jivelite were modified by Triode to support language syntax limitations of luajit and for the Grid Skin, which includes SlimBrowser. I'm not saying that's the reason it doesn't work but it's something we should rule out. I'll have to research how the defeat works, I've never used it.
Morning, Did this ever get sorted out? I have Jitelite and LMS (7.9) running on a Raspberry pi 3 using a touch screen. I have set LMS Destructive to always prompt, but alas when I select a song within Jivelite it starts playing straight away. I have not yet completely worked out how the Jivelite framework is put together so I'm having trouble working out how to change the code to show the context menu..

I assume its one of the calls to the _actionHandler I just cannot see which one..

Also how do I see the debug/log info? -> lots of log:debug calls within the code, I look in my syslogs but see nothing is there something I need to do to enable this feature?

    Kind Regards
    Bruce
