No, don't need to return it, I like the app. I more or less got it for free anyway, with the ú15.00 voucher when I bought the Nexus 7.

On my Motorola Defy+, (which runs their own version of Android - Motoblur)

    Android version - 2.3.6
    System version - 45.0.2310

    Is this my problem?
Server - LMS 7.9.1 > Raspberry Pi3/piCorePlayer 3.21, 25K library on a network drive, cache and playlists on a USB stick.
    Lounge - RPi 2/Max2Play > HiFiBerry DIGI+ > AudioEngine DAC1 > AVI DM5
    Study - RPi 3/piCorePlayer 3.21 > HiFiBerry DAC+ > CA Minx 5
    Dining Room - Boom
    Garage - RPi3/piCorePlayer 3.02 > HiFiBerry DAC+ > Sharp micro system
    In car - LMS 7.9.1 > RPi3/Max2Play/Access Point plugin > HiFiBerry DAC+ > car's hifi (files on a 2TB portable USB drive)
    Spares - 1xTouch, 1xSB3, 1xRadio

Yes, you will need at least Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

BTW, I guess you're the user that encountered the error with v1.0.0 that crashed the app. Sorry about that one, couldn't believe I missed it. In case you haven't gotten it yet, v1.0.1 is already published and should fix the problem.

Ok, thanks for that, the phone was purchased Dec 22nd 2011, so is less than 10 months old.

Hmm... I'll tell you what I'll do, tomorrow I'll dash out and purchase a new iPhone or Android phone (not decided which yet). If I run home like the blasted wind, I should be able to get the thing set up and a version of your app, or iPeng 2.0 on it, before the ruddy thing becomes obsolete!!!

Hey, that's Android. get used to it. I'm on my 3rd generation device now and I'm only testing with it!

    @wt0
I can't get MySqueezebox.com to work. I can enter my e-mail but not the password, it doesn't bring up an entry dialog.

Oh, and what's actually MUCH worse is that I can't get out of the registration flow anymore so I can't switch back to the local server, too.
Sounds like some work coming up tonight

EDIT: False Alarm. After killing the App in the background and re-staring it I could get out of the registration using the back button (didn't work before killing the App once; this time I also didn't start to enter my mail address, maybe that made the difference).

EDIT2: I then had to kill the App again to complete the switch to my local server.

Well, your phone was released before 4.0, but it's pretty ridiculous that they still don't have an official update for it.

I decided to target 4.0+ because I didn't want to deal with Android's fragmentation problem before 4.0. I'm only one person, I just don't have the resources to test my app with every type of Android devices out there.

Hmm, interesting... Just tried it again on my Galaxy Nexus and it works fine. Try a reinstall. Also which version of LMS are you using?
