    Mapped drive problem on XP

For a reason I cannot fathom I cannot get one of my Slimserver installations
    to recognise mapped drives anymore.

I have simplified my set up to get this to work so currently I log into both
machines as administrator using a password. I have set both installations of
Slimserver to run under the same account. Both Slimserver installations are
configured in exactly the amse way. Drives are shared with full rights and
mapped across my network. The Slimserver on my XP machine will not see the
mapped drives on my 2000 machine. However, the installation on my 2000
machine can access and catalogue the mapped drives on my XP machine.

I run a workgroup and do not log onto a domain.
