I am missing a large number of album covers although the 'folder.jpg/png' files are in the relevant folders and I have done a complete library re-scan. This appears to be random; i.e. Having recently added a number of albums to the library and inserted the album art via Songbird's 'get artwork' facility where missing but only a handful appear on the Touch's screen (and on Squeezepad on my iPad) Further, a number of albums which previously displayed album covers do not do so now. I would be grateful for any suggestions as to why this may be happening.

I replied in your other thread in the Touch section, but thought of something else. Have you tried first clearing the cache then doing a complete rescan?

You can specify what images to search for under Server Settings, Advanced, Formatting, obvious place right
Hover over the [i] button to get the current list. Note it excludes cover.PNG.
You could try to specify .png (it may not work as it may not support png files).
Or you could conver .png to .jpg.Louis
