Hello,
Just red some threads and they all seem to contain problems and issue...
And indeed a forum is a nice place to get things solved.
But for new users , positive threads are also welcome !
So...
I'm using the duet for 3-4 years now , in the beginning a had indeed some network issue's
But , aftrethat was fixed, it's so much fun using the duet!
Especially since a start using the android controller app.
Now I can control my duet (even i'm not at home... let my dog getting the nicest songs ;-)
And everytime i'm amazed with new features, and bug fixes, for instance the controller (and android app)
are displaying the album art now correctly, since the last software update...
Anyhow , if you have any positive news , tips , tricks ... just respond to this thread ;-)
Cheers!
Steve

I too am a very happy user with my 2 Duets! I don't have any iTings or Android things so I rely on my Duet controllers and the WebUI to control my 2 receivers and really couldn't be much happier. Yes, I've had a couple of the "getting connected" issues over my 3 to 4 years of use with these, but I've been able to work through the issues. All the issues I've had and how I got through them are well documented in these forums so hopefully others have been able to benefit from my issues and how they've been resolved. With the user participation and a occasional hint from real Logitech folks on these forums I've found this to be one of the better "communities" for a product line out there!

See my signature for all the SB stuff I have. And I have two Touch players and a Radio still in the box as future replacements if needed. I couldn't be happier with my SqueezeBox ecosystem. I've been a music fan and obsessive music collector for over 40 years and the SB stuff is the best investment I've ever made for the enjoyment of my music. Whole house music system (at two different locations) that is easily controlled in multiple ways by me or my wife, with instant access to 70,000+ tracks, internet radio, music services (MOG, SiriusXM), etc. What a bargain!
Location 1: VortexBox Appliance 6TB (2.2) > LMS 7.7.2 > Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet)
Location 2: VBA 3TB (2.2) > LMS 7.7.2 > Touch > Benchmark DAC I, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio)
Office: Win7(64) > LMS 7.7.2 > SqueezePlay
Spares: VBA 4TB, SB3, Touch (3), Radio (3), CONTROLLER
Controllers: iPhone4S (iPeng), iPad2 (iPengHD & SqueezePad), CONTROLLER, or SqueezePlay 7.7 on Win7(64) laptop

I love my squeezebox duet. It takes some management over time, but I can't imagine living without. I have had mine for approximately 4? years...wow, it is just awesome. One of the things I like to do is have some friends come over and take turns passing the controller and adding a few songs to the playlist...a ton of fun for a bunch of music lovers. I use the digital coaxial out to a pretty decent dac...have about 1,700 albums and growing. I should probably buy a few duets/controllers to future proof my system!
Enjoy!
Ned
