Hi All,
It has been a long time since I have needed to ask a question but... Well... I am having a problem. My Touch is now "hard down".
When I click on the system preferences pane for my Mac (running OS X Lion 10.7.4) I am having MAJOR issues. Here are the steps that I am doing:
- Launch System Preferences
- Click on "Logitech Media Server"
- The Logitech window saying " To use the “Logitech Media Server” preferences pane, System Preferences must quit and reopen." opens.
- I select "OK" and the screen disappears... never to reopen... Nothing happens... Nothing after that.
What can I do? This is awful... I have to reload CD's!!!!
Thanks for any help you can offer!
Brian

Squeeze Server Not Working
First of all: you can always open the web UI in Safari:
http://localhost:9000

Check OSX' console where you should see why it fails to start.

Hi Michael,
Thank you for your reply. I do appreciate it.
I don't think I explained the issue well enough. Squeeze Server is not starting at all. I cannot access http://localhost:9000 from Safari because the server is NOT running. Typically I have to start Squeeze server from the System Preferences tab and that Preference Pane never opens. The System Preferences pane NEVER reopens where I can select "Start Server". I hope that is a little more clear.
I launched OSX' Console and it reports the following to me:
"8/20/12 4:21:19.820 PM launcher: posix_spawnattr_setbinpref_np failed"
I have no idea what the message means so I have even less a clue what to do with the error.
Again Michael, I thank you for your reply and would appreciate any help that you could offer because I am totally clueless at this point.

You could try to always run the PrefPane in 32bit mode:
