I read through some posts on the official Spotify forum, and others have the "502 bad gateway" issues on playlists too.
Several agree that there is a lack of support from Logitech.

I hope that Logitech is aware of this and will do something about it.

Some more experimenting : the albums in the playlists can be played when accessed through the "search" function.
However when trying to access them through the playlist -> 502 bad gateway.

This clearly is a software issue and has to do with "playlists"-implementation.
The music itself plays without problem.

I'm sure it is a Logitech issue; not a Spotify issue.

You're probably right about this. There are lots of known issues and forum posts about the official logitech spotify app. Many people find that using Triode's 3rd party spotify plugin is much better. That is certainly what I found when I used spotify. But I've since moved to MOG and had no problems at all with the official logitech MOG app.

In terms of getting logitech's attention, posts at this forum are basically useless (as these old slimdevices forums are really just users talking to other users). Better to post at the official logitech squeezebox forums here (which is somewhat monitored):
    http://forums.logitech.com/t5/MySque...p/mysqueezebox

Even better would be to call logitech and complain about the spotify app not working properly. enough calls get even more attention. Good luck.

I have tried my luck on the Spotify forum/helpdesk and the Logitech forum, without success ...
Spotify directs me to Logitech and no response on the Logitech forum.

yeah, I see your post over there, but I had nothing new to add. The logitech folks aren't terribly active there. So a phone call to logitech is probably your next step. Is MOG available where you are. I switched to MOG a while back and have had zero issues using it with the official logitech app.

I'm not going to call now, as today almost all playlists are accessible without error message.
It must have been a server issue during the weekend. My forum messages should do to make them aware.

As said : Logitech/Spotify need to improve their service level to keep the customers.

agree. but my experience of recent years tells me that I get terrible service on almost anything I purchase or do in my life (cable companies, utilities, restaurants, garages, lawn service, dry cleaners, computer companies, contractors, members of congress, HR department, etc.). Of course, when given options I try to use better service providers, but the world seems to be mostly filled with idiots. If my problem can't be solved automatically by some computer system somewhere, real company representatives are rarely able to help me (or even understand the problem). Sorry, rant over..... ;-)

Luckily, there are still some exceptions, which can make us smile ;-)

Agree! I've had good service from Andrew at Vortexbox (Small Green Computers). And I have to say that Amazon.com gives me excellent service. If there is ever even a hint of a problem, they resolve it immediately by sending new product or an immediate refund.
