Which player? What are you controlling it with?

All these work for me:

Click on the progress bar in the LMS web UI.
Touch the progress bar in all my android apps.
IR remote.
Touch screen on the Touch.
iPeng app.

No other options available.

On the Radio front panel, press and hold the"<<" or ">>" button until the progress bar appears on the screen, press button again to advance.
Similar using the IR remote.

I'll try that ... but I've a feeling that I already tried that sequence and the programme just restarts from the beginning.

What format are you playing ? It defintely works with AAC not sure about WMA.
