Connecting radio to android phone

I often go to friends house who have no internet or wifi. I'd like to be able to take one of my radios over and play music from my Galaxy siii on the radio. Any thoughts on how this might be achieved?

I took a closer look at the back of the radio and noticed the audio jack was a line in instead of a headphone jack. That would certainly work, I was just hoping for a more graceful solution using the phones hotspot.

Line In is your best option for playing music stored on the phone. Phone used as a hot spot should work for internet streams. How reliable such streams will be over cell towers is another issue and may be hit or miss.
