YEP. I think I finally found something I can use, so will read up on this thread + sox-documentation:
http://forums.slimdevices.com/showth...e-please/page5
Now, since I have the Metrum Octave DAC that can only lock onto 176/24 (and not 192/24), I may want to have SoX upsample to two different sample rates:
44/16 + 88/24 ---> 176/24
48/24 ---> 96/24 (unless I get 192/24 to work somehow)
Or doesn't it matter?
Phil Leigh is the man it seems.
Best wishes,
Peter

Yes, he is. And he and many other posters that actually know what they are talking about have essentially disappeared from these forums because they got tired of dealing with a handful of no-nothing audiophools that hijacked the forums. A real loss, particularly in Phil Leigh's case.
edit: but we're lucky to still have some of his wisdom contained in older posts, including the one that helped you solve an issue.....Location 1: VortexBox Appliance 6TB (2.2) > LMS 7.7.2 > Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet)
