    Hi Guido

Thanks for the best wishes I must admit that the addition of the AM unit has had a very positive influence on me listening to more music which is always a good thing.
Sadly the UK and in paticular in the North were I am from (Liverpool) we do not have much problem with it being too warm . In fact the Krell often acts as part time room heater as well as a power amp.

    Regards

    Andrew

    Hello Andrew:

Liverpool sounds lovely after a couple of months of 40C temperatures!

Re: your mention of low volume with the AM: I found that the parametric equalizer uses up a lot of CPU juice with the result that with all 16 bands enabled it reduces the output volume to about half its normal level. So I went back, enabled only a 1db lift below 30Hz and a -6db shelf above 3KHz plus one very judicious -1.5db in the mid-treble. Sounds better, cleaner and more open, and I get way more than enough output volume. the room response graph is not as flat that way, but the sound is what matters to me.

I also found (the hard way) that the non-volatile memory apparently only activates if one turns the AM off and then on again, not if one, or the utility company, cuts off power at the AC outlet. Once activated, it seems to keep track of one's setting all right.

    Best,

    Guido F.

I just bought one anti mode 2.0 for my hifi system including roksan caspian M2 CD+M1 bi-amp+ProAc 1sc. I love the AM very much.
So the conclusion is that we could not connect the SBT with AM?

    Thanks.

Apparently not without inserting a USB-to-SPDIF coverter (if using EDO + SBT's USB out). Alternatively, just use the SBT's SPDIF out into the AM's digital (Toslink) input.

with new firmware Nov 30 2012, Anti mode 2.0 supports SBT much better. The most important upgrade is that Asynchronous audio transmission in USB mode for improved audio quality!!

After updating to the latest firmware I got a horrible distortion in the upper frequencies. Reverted to an older firmware and everything was fine again. Anyone planning to update should perhaps wait until this problem is fixed.

After the Nov 30 version, they have just released the Dec 2 version to solve the issue you mentioned.

    Dec 2 Firmware Works Flawlessly

The latest firmware release solves the distortion issue. Works flawlessly with SPDIF.

Will try EDO on USB next.

Very fast turnaround by the DSPeaker team! Quite reassuring.

    Tried USB .

Works well but only up to 48kHz. Apparently 24/96 is not supported yet.

SPDIF works fine up to 24/96.

    Guido F.

EDIT: DSPeaker confirms that 24/96 over USB is "still on the table."

Dspeaker confirms again the Dec 2 version is a beta version so far and recommends to use back to Oct 4 version...

    Download "Dec 2 2012" Beta

    Known Issues:
    - USB with channel delays causes problems
    - Adjusting Bass with QuickTone also sets Treble to -1.
