What is the script I need to install on my NSA to have the PCM option enabled for FLAC so I can have the conversion done on the NSA as opposed to the Touch? I want to compare apples to apples with my current PC setup. Right now I hear a slight difference with my PC and NSA and the only difference is that the PC converts the FLAC to PCM.
Thanks in advance,
Ryan.

it is most likley so that it does not have the CPU power to transcode ,most low end NAS boxes does not have the cpu or ram for it.
Btw sligth difference do you use the Volume Adjustment/Replay Gain function in the squeezebox ,don't if you compare things volume migth get different for flac vs pcm .
try a blind test there really should be no difference unless something is wrong.
You could make yourself wav copies for trying it out on the zyxel if you want , just set wav to native and not flac ,so it does not try to transcode wav to flac it might not have the power to do it (wav to flac is default) .
Transcoding settings are in advanced/file types settings if an option is greyd out it is not avaible .
Btw make notes of the default settings if you mess with these settings it can quickly becomme very confused when you try to restore it later after some experimentation.--------------------------------------------------------------------
