Is that program displaying all tags & tag versions?
    - file might have an ID3v1 tag which Google is picking up, but your program is only displaying ID3v3 tags?
    - program is not displaying all tags? (custom or hidden tag fields)

    Dunno, just a guess.

The most likely explanations for that would be you didn't look in the extended tags and/or you didn't configure the columns to show Album Artist.

If you want to see albumartist: Right click on a column heading, select Choose Columns and add the albumartist field or any others you want to add. They'll appear to the right of previously selected columns. Drag them across the screen to display them in the order you'd like.

Otherwise just replace my references to %artist% with %albumartist% or %album artist%, whichever is applicable. A field needn't be visible for you to be able to work with it.
