Scanning new media files: /media/disk6part2/MEDIA/Audeo (0 of 0) Running 51:07:2

Looks like it never will end 0 0f 0. Can any one say why? I looked at the log file at /var/log/squeezeboxserver but I don't see any thing that would say why it's like just doing the time up on Media Scan Details.

My Netgear NASDuo did that. It drove me freaking nuts. I tried for a solid week to find the reason then finally gave up. I wound up returning the Touch and later selling the NAS. My theory is that the NAS simply could not run the SBS properly for some reason. A lot of the people on this forum suggested my tags were screwed up.

Now I'm running the same files on the NAS in my signature and last night the LMS scanned 2,500 albums in about 7 hours. Works fine.

(Just for reference, my Sonos ZP90 was able to scan all the same files on each of my NASs in about 20 minutes.)

yep, my readynas duo was painfully slow in scanning and in browsing (although it would eventually complete the scan and would play my FLACs just fine). My VBAs (or Win7 machines) scan my ~70,000 tracks in about one hour.
