    LMS for Marvell Kirkwood architecture

    Hello everybody,
I plan to buy a Nas model Qnap TS119PII based on an ARM Marvell Kirkwood processor and want to run it with Debian Linux (instead of Qnap firmware).
Can someone confirm that the package "Logitech Media Server: Debian Installer Package" provided in nighty builds may be installed on a device running the Marvell Kirkwood Debian port ?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

It works on my Dockstar which uses the Marvell Kirkwood arch. I'm running debian 6.0.3 with lms 7.7.3

I have had a Ts-119pII since its initial release and installed Debian on it a few days after getting it.

    LMS works fine on it.
For full info I keep the thing updated against Debian sid and manually install the Debian nightlies packages from http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nig...ex.php?ver=7.8

The QNAP firmware has better samba speeds but Debian is acceptable.
    Can write at about 30MB/sec
    Can read at about 55MB/sec
Official QNAP firmware was basically double that.

    Thanks for your reply bits.
I'll use the NAS for running LMS only (no file sharing). So I am not especially concerned at data transfer speed. I plan to run Debian Squeeze, this should be up to date enough.
