I'm running Windows 7 and LMS 7.7.0 - r33614
More often than not my scheduled rescan for new music (and any random scans I might start) fail to complete. If I clear and rescan all is fine, but I don't want to do that every time. I've turned on debugging but the scanner log shows nothing on a new music scan and the server log isn't shedding much light on the matter...not that I know what I'm looking for.
I was going to post my server log but the forum software is rejecting it because it thinks I'm trying to post a bunch of smilies....
I'd rather solve this on my present version of LMS before upgrading if possible. What should I be looking for in the logs, and what else should I try?

The log implies that scan aborted during music import so you should enable logging on scan.import to see if it gives more details.

Oh well. Gave up and installed 7.7.2, seems to work now.
