I'm in the process of upgrading and tweaking my home network, mostly wireless. Also doing the same for a friend and the network at work.
I could really do with an app for testing throughput, signal strength etc.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

If you do not mind performing a jailbreak on your iOS device, then you can use "Wifi Analyzer" which can be found on Cydia.
