    Flac from old EAC version

    Hi all,

I have acquired some flac files that date back to 2007, and were ripped via EAC. I trust that there are no implications quality-wise or other-wise for having these from an "older" version of the venerable program. Please advise if otherwise.

FLAC is lossless, I would guess if there's a quality issue it would be from the original media that EAC ripped from.

I would say that there is nothing wrong with EAC from circa 2007. But the quality of the rips depends not only on the media, but also on the EAC configuration. For example, did you have AccurateRip installed (at that time I think it required separately dropping a dll file in the EAC folder), was the drive offset set properly, etc.
