Not really. Ipeng handles both functions.

Try Subsonic. It's pretty painless and easy to use. True, it won't allow you to use LMS, but you can still easily and securely access your music (as well as video) via computer and/or smartphone.

That's just Android where there is only SqueezePlayer as an (LMS)player which doesn't by itself have a controller-UI. But it integrates well with the existing controllers.
On iOS, both SqueezePad and iPeng offer a playback feature as an addon so you can do both, playback and control, from within the same App.---
