On netflix I watched the video from Classic Albums about the making of Machine Head. In it, Jon talked about how me made that organ sound running it through amps and such. I never really appreciated his organ sound until watching that. As Alfista points out - it takes more than just a cursory listen to appreciate it.

good Lord !!
quirky album Fireball is my favorite
You're racing like a fireball dancing like a ghost
You're gemini and I don't know which one I like the most
My head is getting broken and my mind is getting bust
But now I'm coming with you down the road of golden dust
Oh my love it's a long way
Where you're from it's a long wayTouch optimisations http://touchsgotrythm.blogspot.co.uk/

I loved Jon Lord's playing and it's interplay with Ritchie's strat work. I liked the crazy rhythm of Space Trucking , the solos, the Spartan purity like on Child in Time. I was so sorry to hear the news.
If you've been bad, Lord, I bet you have
And you've not been hit by flying lead
You've not been hit by flying lead
You'd better close your eyes
You'd better bow your head
Wait for the ricochet"O wad some Power the giftie gie us
To see oursels as ithers see us!
It wad frae monie a blunder free us,
An' foolish notion."
