Hey
I have sorted my files like this: \Artist\Album\track.........
I use Flac and Wav files
Some of my files have a bad tagging and because of that, I would like to make Squeezebox Media Server not reading TAG's but only my filestructure - Is that possible ?
I use Server Version: 7.6.1 - r33110 on a Synology DS212+ NAS
Hope someone can help med with an answer.
Many Regards

From the Duet controller or the webUI you can navigate via the Music Folder option. This should allow you to access your library via the file structure. Other than that I'm not aware of a capability to disable tag reading.

It always reads the tags, but you can instead browse to your music by folder by using the "browse folder" option in the menu rather than artist or album. Also note that with your directory structure, you can easily have something like mp3tag automatically fill in correct artist, album, track #, and track name from the directory, subdirectory, filename info.
