Hi Everyone,
I've been playing with Windows 8 on one of my machines at home and one of only compatibility issues I've found is using the desktop version of IE 10 with LMS doesn't let me browser the nodes in the 'Home' side. Basically, I can't access anything that isn't always visible on the screen, as a clicking on the headers for Favorites, etc. doesn't expand to show any additional content. I've tried enforcing compatability view, but I get the problem with it on or off. I'm just curious if anyone else has seen the same problem and knows of a work around?
It's quite annoying since I can't access my favorites to listen to - searching only get me so far
Cheers,
walshy

Hmm... working fine here. I did get a warning about intranet settings not
being enabled etc. Did you see those as well (not sure it's of
importance)? Would you get a JS error message (bottom left)?

Oh, this might be new in the RC? I only tested with a beta from several
weeks back... Time to update...

What I call the RC is the version released in the beginning of june - Release Preview build 8400
I expect to update to the RTM version when it becomes available on MSDN.
On a sidenote the RC version of IE10 brought a very annoying error that Microsoft have not been able to recreate; so can't wait to reinstallMain: Receiver (Audiocom) -> Beresford Caiman+ (Gatorized) -> Carver A-500x -> B&W 704

I had enabled intranet settings, but it doesn't work either way. Not sure what's going on since it's working for some and not for others - unless it was the Consumer Preview that broke it. Might just have to wait for the RTM in October and hope for the best :S

I can confirm that LMS doesn't work at all in IE 10 "Metro", and works badly in IE 10 "Desktop". (using Windows 8 Release Preview, buid 8400)

Managed to get it working
Switched to the 'Default CD' interface instead of the normal 'Default' one. Seems to be working in desktop IE so at least there's a work around

Works in Windows 8 RTM Desktop mode... (but not in Windows 8 'Metro' mode...)

What ever was the problem in the Release Preview build is gone now.
For me it Works in both the desktop and metro version.
In the metro version it warned about access to private LAN but offered to enable it... and then it worked...
What problem do you see?!
Edit: just to make clear that i am now the RTM versionLast edited by slate; 2012-08-19 at 02:30.
