Hi all, I've infally made it across here from the previous incarnation of these forums.

Apologies if this one has already been covered but I've made a discovery, completely by accident, that has solves the issue of declining scroll wheel performance over the years, for fast forwarding through tracks/iPlayer radio shows - sad but true I call up Ken Bruce when I get home from work & fast forward to listen to Pop Master!

After holding down the fast forward button to call up the fast forward box, instead of switching to using the scroll wheel, let the fast forward button go, then straight away press and hold it down again until you;ve have fast forwarded it where you want to be.

This won't help with scrolling through menus, but has vastly improved the time taken to zip through an hour of radio chatter to get to the bit I am after.

Here's hoping this might prove useful to someone, sorry if I have wasted anyone's time reading this though - to know me is to know I'm no expert with technology.....!
