USB drive behind a hub

Hello everybody,
I am using the Touch with an external DAC. The DAC must be connected to the Touch using its USB input (don't ask why). So I installed Triode's EDO plugin. Also I have to run the local server (again don't ask why) feeding music from an attached 2.5" USB drive. Thus I bought a USB hub, the one recommended by Triode (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showth...l=1#post688572).
The DAC works fine with this hub.
Unfortunately the drive is no longer recognized when plugged behind the hub (the latter being attached to the Touch). However the drive is perfectly recognized when the hub is attached to my PC (running Linux).
Has anyone encountered the same kind of dysfunction with the Touch ?
