I don't know what has happened or how. All my media is stored on an external drive, and when connected to the pc, could be accessed by my squeezebox as Robs music. If the drive was not connected, trying to access 'Robs Music', would just show as empty. Just recently, My Music is now showing as Home-PC, which is my C: drive, and I don't know how this has happened. Something else which I haven't noticed before, my presets are all different when connected to Home-PC than connected to my Squeezebox. I am assuming that when I re-connect my external drive, I will have to do a re-scan, but I would like to know how this happened if anyone has any ideas.

Just the name changed? Other than that it works as expected? All your same music is there? If yes, I wouldn't worry about it.
I'm guessing Rob's Music was simply the name you gave LMS server for your music library, and Home-PC is the actual name of the PC hosting LMS.
You don't have two LMS servers running in your home, do you?

And to your other question ,yes presets are server specific so a player would have different presets depending on wich servers it is conected to and mysqueezebox.com is basically just another server.

No, it's finding the few mp3's I have in My Document\Music on the C: drive. I don't know if this is because I hadn't had my external drive connected and Windows had some sort of glitch, which it often does. I only have one LMS server running. I just find it strange that before, if the drive wasn't connected, the folder showed as 'empty', then all of a sudden it decides if it can't find my music in one place, it will get it from another, without me guiding it to the right place.

If the drive is removed while LMS is running it assumes that the music is gone and dump the whole database .
On windows I think it assume the user my music folder as default until you set it up in the music folder setting .
So you probably have to nether the path to mounted USB drive again and do a clear and rescan .
And remember to keep the drive conected while the server is running--------------------------------------------------------------------

Squeezebox off three time zones
Forgive me for jumping in. This is new to me. I had to get tech support to get my Squeezebox operating again after installing a satelllite upgrade. How can I change the time to EDST?

SB players get their time from the server which they are connected to.
If connecting to MySB.com go to MySB.com > Players > (select player) > General > (select time zone)
If connecting to LMS server on your computer make sure the time is correct on it's host computer.
