    I tried that and gave up. Fact is that over time, musicbrainz'db gets updated so frequently that you'll loose for sure your ratings at some point in time. Ratings should be stored in the media file itself. Trackstat is flawned by design. It just can't work unless you decide your files are perfectly tagged once for all. This is not true in reality especialy if you use musicbrainz because veryone contributes to musicbrainz so it's evolving permanently. Trackstat backup and restore simply never worked for me.
