    Hooking up larger speakers

I love my squeezebox radio. I love the sound. But sometimes I yearn to
have larger speakers. Sometimes I just want the internet capabilities of the radio
and play the internet through a big speaker. Is there a way to do that with
    the squeezebox?

Yes. Just use the Headphone Out jack. It's a 3.5mm stereo mini-plug. You can buy these cables at any electronics store like Radio Shack.

The question is, what are you going to connect it to? Stereo? AVR/amp/receiver? Might need an adapter cable to go from Radio mini-plug to your stereo's input.

Or, you can simply buy self powered speakers (they have their own built in amp). The AudioEngine brand of their A2's or A5's are very well liked for such use. Or there is simple 2.1 or 5.1 systems from numerous mfrs. Logitech themselves has them from $30 to to $300.
Ex: Logitech LS21 ($30) or Z523 ($90), just as examples. Obviously you get what you pay for audio wise.

Keep in mind such stereo mini-plugs have their limitations audio quality wise. These are not digital outs nor full L/R analog outs.
