    Scan for incomplete tags?

I have a huge library that I have gotten here and there.

Is there a way to scan for files that have incomplete tags?

For example, files that lack an artist or title embedded in the tag?

I just trolled manually through my "R" folder and found an album without good tags. It was a lot of work. I am sure there are more.

    Thanks.

Load them all up in mp3tag and sort on different columns (fields).

+1 that is what I do as well.

and remember that MP3tag integrates with Explorer/ Total Commander so you can right click on a single track or sug-directory

In Mp3tag use the filtering capability (F3). Load up your whole library, hit F3, then enter the following filtering expressions:

To list all files with missing artist:
    artist MISSING

To list all files with missing title:
    title MISSING

Or, to find files where either one is missing:
    artist MISSING OR album MISSING

See the Mp3gag help for additional filtering help and examples of more complicated filtering.
