Simple EQ?

I've never seen a Boom. I do think the Radio sound quality is very good, without tone controls, and I am very content with it. It's really only a few programme sources that I think could be improved. And an anti 'I've got my Radio right up against the wall' button might be a bonus.

I was just amazed that they omitted tone controls when the Squeezebox BOOM had it, that and a real snooze button and backlit buttons ? they know how to do such a device and then they don't ?

Yeah, I've been scratching my head over that too. The Radio is a good device in my experience & opinion, but cutting out those three functions..? I understand that all of them would increase the price, but as it is, the Radio is neither fish nor fowl.
