    How to change last.fm password?

I have recently changed my last.fm password, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change this on our Touch...?

    How do I do this?

I even downloaded and installed the Logitech Media Server and changed my last.fm password there. Everything seemed to work nicely until I logged out of my "Logitech Media Server" and back into mysqueezebox.com. The password had not been saved properly.

I have also performed a factory reset - no luck as it remembers my mysqueezebox.com credentials.

I cannot see how to do this on mysqueezebox.com either.

    Please help!

Log into your www.MySqueezeBox.com account with your computer. Go to My Apps > Last.fm, edit your login ID & password

The local plugin via Advanced>Lastfm Audioscrobbler determines where to submit the scrobbles.

You'll also need to change the entry for the Lastfm App at mysb.com

You probably need to delete the old user first, click on the red minus (No Entry sign?).
And then re-enter the user & password.

    Thanks for your replies.

I do not have the last.fm app installed - neither do I have an option to install it (in Australia). This password is just for "simple" last.fm audioscrobbling (via Settings/Advanced/Last.fm Audioscrobbler)...

    Any ideas?

I'm happy to SSH in, if that what it takes (but it shouldn't)...

How long ago was it working? Are you a paid subscriber to Last.fm? Free Last.fm is limited to only scrobbling, can't play stations.

    Just bumping my original request.

As a non-subscriber to last.fm without the last.fm app installed (i.e. just scrobbling), how do I change my password, please?

    Thanks!

I think you still have to "subscribe", but as a free user. Same with other services like Slacker & Pandora. They have free services but you still must subscribe with a login ID and password. It's the only way the services know which players are yours and in your case which account to scrobble to.

    I appreciate your replies.

... but I am subscribed (as a free user), and have been for ~5 years... It all worked swimmingly until I simply - I thought - changed my password! What I want to do is very simple - change my last.fm password on the Touch without installing the Logitech Media Server stuff (that's why I bought a Touch!).

Why is this so complicated, hard and difficult to do? It really shouldn't be... (Unless last.fm have changed something recently, which I cannot see on their website.)

Is it possible to do this via SSH? I am happy to do that (with a little guidance)...
