I tried LMS both on my old (2006) 1,66 GHz Core Duo Mac Mini and its successor, a 2010 2,4 GHz Core2Duo MacMini. No performance issues at all. Even on my ancient 867 Mhz G4 PowerBook it works fine.
One ought to restart it (LMS) every other day though, as it tends to get increasingly unresponsive after a couple of days of 24/7 uptime.

My mac mini typically goes weeks between restarts. One ought to restart it (LMS) every other day though, as it tends to get increasingly unresponsive after a couple of days of 24/7 uptime.

The problem is just that I fear these LMS performance issues (or any other current SB problems) are not very likely to be fixed.
