ive had the squeezbox boom for a number of years with out to much hassle up untill a few weeks ago now it has problems playing my own music stops and starts and internet radio does the same any advise

i have tried wifi ok on netstar and others squeezebox boom i have 2 rebuffers on radio internet and even my computer content have tried rebooting router factory reset booms to no avail run out of ideas

This problem sounds like a WIFI interference problem. Could be a new neighbor, etc. Originally Posted by ianef
can you temporarily wire to router with ethernet (just as a test to make sure there is no problem with the BOOM itself). Keep in mind that simply plugging in ethernet cable doesn't switch the boom to ethernet, you have to go through boom menu to connect to ethernet network connection. If boom doesn't buffer with ethernet, then boom is fine and wifi network in the culprit.
