I recently downloaded a Torrent file with a series of FLAC files. I downloaded it right into that particular Artist's file on my NAS. The problem is that my Squeezebox Touch is filing the songs under "No Album" under that particular artist. The artist and song titles are correct but there is no album name. I tried placing the songs into a file and naming it the album title but it didn't work.
How do I name the album title of the songs I downloaded?
Thanks

It sounds as if the files do not have any information in the ALBUM tag. Use a tag editor to put the correct album title in the album tag. If you are on Windows then mp3tag is a good tagger (it also does FLAC). On *nix puddletag is a good tagger. I don't know what people recommend on OSX.
After you have updated the files' tags, you should rescan your library in Logietch Media Server to pick up the changes. Then all should be well.
EDIT: If you're new to tagging, this wiki article may be useful to you: http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.ph...ide_To_Tagging

Yes many uploads are not decently tagged or even very poorly tagged , this tells me that the original uploader may not even bothered configuring his/hers ripping software ?
Many claims to use EAC or dBp ?
So if one indulges in downloading *always* scrutinize the tags before committing to you library and also keep the one folder per album structure .
This is not even a good idea even with legit sources ,many of them can't tag either .
Also some of them also bring unnecessary cue and m3u playlist , these can also upsett the scanning remove them .
I think this is one of the main reasons for scanner crashing libraries and weird browsing experiences
all browsing and searching in LMS is just as good as your tags.
