    Controlling TinySC from ubuntu?

I am running my SB Touch through TinySC to play music from a USB-stick. I wonder if it's possible to control the touch through ubuntu with this setup?

Yes, if you can get squeezeplay to run on your Ubuntu system. Then use squeezeplay as the controller for the touch.

In theory you should be able to download the SqueezePlay debian installation package from:
    http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.7

And then from a command line run:
    Code:
    sudo dpkg -i squeezeplay_*_all.deb
As long as you only want to control the Touch I think this should work, if you want to play music on the Ubuntu machine it can be more tricky as I know some people (including me) have had trouble getting that to work properly.
