can i contunue to use spotify free???

Spotify is nice but i don't use it that often, so the free version is fine with me. I tried to follow the instruction to link spotify withe the squeezebox in the SB-radio forum: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showth...-address/page3

The instruction doesn't work for me. I found the right flash directory, but i can't find any spotify directory (I have version 8.322).
The squeezebox.exe file is in the directory c:/documents&settings/administrator/mijndocumenten/downloads . It is her I put the 3 files (and in the flash directory...). After starting spotify free i get a red icon (with message: DBridge encoder:couldn not load lame_enc.dll).

    Any help?

AFAIK Spotify requires a premium subscription for anything other than web browser access.

True, but I think he's talking about some sort of hack that existed to use free spotify. No clue about how it worked.

The thread that the OP referred to was about using dsbridge together wit the web browser access so this did work with the free version. The idea was to turn the output from the Spotify web player output into an MP3-stream that LMS could pick up and distribute to a SB, you wouldn't be able to select songs or anything like that from the SB though. I believe some people used wavinput in a similar way. This did work, don't know if it does anymore, haven't seen it mentioned for quite a while.
