Sudden loss of Vol

Well I did as you suggested and the problem still is there, I have only had it less than a year so I think I will have to return it under waranty

I agree that it sounds like a defect and should be repaired/replaced (likely the latter), but one more thing to check: does the loss of volume occur with internet radio as well as local music files?

Hi, I have this morning contacted customer support, and they could not have been more helpful, when I explained that I had followed the forum advise they agreed to send out a new Touch. So a big thank you to all who tried to help me.Doug
