I have just brought a new pioneer receiver and now i seem to have to leave it on fixed 100% , where before i only had it on around 20-25%. If i have it on that i can't hear anything.Any ideas?
Thanks

Your post doesn't give many details, and the question is ambiguously phrased. Leave what on fixed 100%? The volume of the Squeezebox Receiver? How is everything connected? What model of Pioneer receiver? Etc. etc.

Some amps have a level setting for inputs - the inputs might be too low hence the need to pump the output of the SBR up.

If you're using analog out (RCA), make sure you haven't plugged them into phono. They should be plugged into Aux or CD, not phono.
