Hi all, I recently set up a Synology 212j and pointed my Squeeze Server at it. All my SB3s, Boom, Radio found it.
I ran a scan last night, and only about 1/2 of the library made it over. This morning, I ran another scan from my PC, and I can now see my whole library. However, the devices have not updated their library. When I navigate to Music Folder, I get inaccessible due to scanning. When I go to Settings, it also seems to still show the scan in progess.
The system seems stuck.
Any advice?
Thanks!

I can't help with your problem , but you can abort the scan from the web-UI , then you will have access to "music folder" again .
in LMS the "music folder" manu is not available while scanning . The other menus should work like artist or genre or album even while scanning but will ofcourse only show what alredy been scanned, but it has never been any good idea to use the server while scanning especially when using a NAS or small server .
As "music folder" does not really use tag data it can be used even if scan is somewhat incomplete, but it is not as fast and efficient as the normal menus .
why the scan stucks no idea ?
try to grab the log files and post them--------------------------------------------------------------------
