Library- artist listings. Issues with artists that are on "various artists" albums

Ok- so I'm close to perfection. All 1000 albums have been loaded, and almost all artists are in perfect alphabetical order (last name first- added manually). My only issue is those artists who are also on compilations (various artists)- such as a compiled christmas cd- these aren't showing up in proper alphabetical order- even if I have multiple albums exclusively of theirs. Other than stripping their names off of the compilation- is there any way to correct this? (Note- everything's showing up fine in itunes- problem is on my squeezebox list)

Did you also add ARTISTSORT tags to the tracks on the compilation albums?
