Squeezeplay on Mac - run on boot?

    Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible (and how) to run squeezeplay on boot on a MAC?

I'm running a headless mac mini with LMS and using the optical out into my dac.

LMS runs ok on boot but I also need a player to do likewise - i am controlling the player via ipeng.

I'd really like to be able to do this without having to login via VNC everytime.

    thanks in anticipation

You can set apps to run automatically when a user logs in, but I'm not sure about how to set them to run on boot without a user logging in. Is your Mac set to log in a default user at startup? If so, that user's login items will run automatically when you reboot.

Go to 'System Preferences' -> 'Users & Groups', select a user in the left hand panel, and then select the 'Login Items' tab in the right hand panel. You'll see a list of programs that run whenever that user logs in, and you can add and remove items in that list.

Thanks - I didn't know about auto login a default user at startup
