Queen Band/Solo Members Tagging Issue?

Hi all
I have several Queen albums in my collection & a few singles/albums by both Brian May & Freddie Mercury.
My (minor) issue is that both of their solo works appears under "Q" in Artists?
I've checked the Extended Tags for both & there is no mention of Queen in either, so I would have expected them to appear under "B" & "F".
Can anyone enlighten me as to the cause?

I guess I could use the ARTISTSORT tag to force the issue but I'd like to understand why it's doing what it's doing without a Tag to tell it what to do :-)

There may be an artist sort tag in use already , that would explain the behaviour .

Did you check for other iterations like artist sort albumartistsort ,composer sort and more or simply album artist .

The weird thing with LMS is that this tag need only to in one of the affected files and they are all sorted wrong .

Yes LMS sort files depending on tags in other files, which IMO is a bug, but others sees it as feature ?

Do you have any compilation or tribute album or similar ?

Thanks for the suggestion.
I went through all the Queen / Freddie Mercury / Brian May tracks I've got, the only links between them I could find was composer which I blanked in Mp3tag but it made no difference.
It's not a huge issue, just niggles :-)

After you edited the tags did you do a full clear and rescan? It can be needed where artist 'structure' is changed.
